Salsa Leedos - Great food and dining valueNick Johnson - June 18, 2010 at 8:14AM
Comfortable atmosphere, good food, and free margaritas in one of the few non-chain restaurants in the area. Salsa Leedos is the best Mexican food I have had in West Jordan, and worthy of a dining trip.Serving an extensive menu of Mexican favorites, tacos, burritos, enchiladas, fajitas, nachos, and more. Being a sucker for tacos, I've worked my way through the assortment of meats. Pork carnitas, slow-roasted shredded beef, chicken, and perfectly seasoned ground beef, all available on crispy shells or soft corn tortillas. The same quality is found in the burritos, of which the Chile Colorado is the real stand-out with juicy chunks of pork in a spicy red chile sauce. Whether you go for lunch or dinner, the portions are generous enough to fill any appetite. It seems they have recently amped up the menu and the service, with new dishes gracing the menu, and special dinner deals that make dining here a great value. One of their ongoing specials celebrates the addition of several margaritas to the menu, which they give you free with each entree purchase (virgin margaritas). Classic lime, strawberry, pina colada, and several more flavors available, and come fully loaded for only $2. Salsa Leedos is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner. Sunday 11am- 9pm, Monday-Thursday 11am-10pm, Friday & Saturday 11am-11pm.Salsa Leedos9155 South Redwood RoadWest Jordan, UtahRead more from Nick Johnson at Salt Lake City's Examiner.com.
