apa_mug_150x80For Salt Lake based Apa Sherpa climbing Everest is about as old hat as climbing Everest could become. The Nepal native who a few years back moved to Utah and started working at Snowbird so that he could provide a better education for his children, Apa has once again broken his own world record by summiting Mount Everest today for the 19th time. The Salt Lake Tribune has been tracking Apa's progress for the past month with a micro-site and a blog that has updates from the mountain about Apa's progress.  It's worth going back and re-reading the posts and seeing the things that go into an attempt on Mount Everest. --Check out the Everest Blog at the Salt Lake Tribune.
