The DirtyBird Mud Run Prepares to Set World Records at Snowbird Ski & Summer Resort

Published: 07/01/2015
Park City, Utah (July 1, 2015) – Human Movement Management and Snowbird Ski & Snowboard Resort announced today the commencement of construction of the inaugural DirtyBird Mud Run course. The DirtyBird Mud Run, a record-setting, downhill obstacle mud run, is scheduled for July 11, 2015 at Snowbird. The event is the first of its kind worldwide.
DirtyBird is expected to set the world record for the longest slip’n slide in the world. Additionally, the course will feature 5.5 miles of downhill terrain, 15 never before seen obstacles, 3,000 feet of descent, and a world-class finish line festival with live music.
DirtyBird is proud to partner with some of the leading brands including Subaru, known for embracing active lifestyles and a love for the outdoors, Dos Equis, inspiring people to “Stay Thirsty” and live a more interesting life by facilitating interesting and unexpected experiences, and Visit Salt Lake, the destination marketing organization responsible for promoting the greater Salt Lake metropolitan region as Ski City, a one-of-a-kind urban ski destination. There is Only One Ski City.
At this year’s event, Subaru and DirtyBird have partnered with Operation Gratitude and invite participants to donate $5 to Operation Gratitude at registration. Additional Operation Gratitude support opportunities will be available onsite at the Subaru booth located near the finish line of the event.
Participants can register for $85 through July 10, 2015. Day of registration will be available for $100. Individual and team registration, as well as additional information on the event, is available at
