Ski Salt Lake and LivingSocial Escapes Storm into Ski Season with Great Savings

Published: 11/07/2011
SALT LAKE CITY, November 7, 2011- Ski trips to Salt Lake are more affordable than ever this winter as Visit Salt Lake today announced its Ski Salt Lake program is partnering with LivingSocial Escapes for the company's first-ever "featured destination" theme week, beginning today. This is the first time LivingSocial Escapes has featured a destination to attract travelers to a specific locale rather than an individual property. Beginning today, a collection of vacation packages to nine of Salt Lake's most popular hotels and resorts are being offered via LivingSocial Escapes at up to 50 percent off and can only be purchased through November 14, 2011, at

To further enhance the weeklong promotion, Ski Salt Lake is offering a $100 voucher/credit per booking toward the purchase of a 3-day (or more) Ski Salt Lake Super Pass, the most convenient and affordable way to ski Salt Lake's famed resorts: Alta, Brighton, Snowbird and Solitude. Super Passes are valid over a seven-day period and include free round-trip transportation from downtown and suburban Salt Lake to the resorts, as well as a 20 percent discount at participating resort rental shops.

Known for creating affordable "vacations in a box" for weekend trips or destination experiences of a lifetime, LivingSocial Escapes offers a collection of different vacation options each week. Travelers have the ability to select the destination and property best suited to their wants and needs to fully customize their trip. The Ski Salt Lake LivingSocial Escapes collection allows skiers to choose from a variety of lodging options, from downtown urban hotels to ski-in/ski-out condominiums, tailoring their vacation to experience the best of Salt Lake's world-class resorts and ski slopes.
