Ski Salt Lake Resorts Take Top Honors

Published: 10/21/2007

Salt Lake City (October 2007)—Receiving over 500 inches of mother nature’s finest each season, and situated just 40 minutes from the Salt Lake City International Airport, it’s no wonder the Ski Salt Lake Resorts of Alta, Snowbird, Brighton and Solitude received high marks form the readers of Ski and Skiing magazine. Of particular note (but not surprise) is the fact that Ski Salt Lake Resorts took three of the top five spots for best powder.
"The rankings are a truly flattering reflection of what we hear day in and day out from our guests, the snow and terrain in the Cottonwood Canyons are unlike anything else in the world," said Snowbird Ski & Summer Resort Marketing Director Dave Fields. "It's great to see a
couple feet of the renowned snow on the ground in late-October."
