In The Event Launches Touch Screen Video Modular Units

Published: 07/19/2012

Salt Lake City based event design company In The Event recently launched touch screen video modular units to be used as an interactive tool at their client's events.  In The Event specializes in modular furniture and is one of the only decor companies in Utah offering modular LED furniture, modular tables, bars, cubes, walls, towers, dance floors, and more. The company prides itself on bringing innovative event design and event decor to the Utah area. In an effort to modernize and enhance their modular units, In The Event developed video towers and video walls. The company owns 12 video mods that have a 16: 9 display ratio. The screens are fully touch interactive and operate using a Mac or PC.

The goal of the video mods was to create an exciting and engaging way to launch new products, convey information, and loop videos among a variety of other branding initiatives. With an emphasis in corporate events, In The Event often manufactures new display products in house to offer their clients additional resources to be used at product launches, VIP events, award galas, etc.

Company owner and Vice President Robert LaSpina comes from a background of event producers and has worked in the industry for over 25 years. LaSpina is excited to continue developing innovative event technology, with a see through touch screen video mod being the next step for their video towers. "It's essentially an oversized iPad," says LaSpina of the touch screen video mods. He continues explaining that the video mods can function horizontally or vertically and have full wireless updating allowing their clients to cut back on printing.

With a focus on green events, In the Event strives to minimize their negative impact on the environment. Through out the event design process the company seeks products that are earth friendly and can be used for more than one purpose. However, that is not to say that the company recycles event looks, as it is stated in their guarantee that every event they create is 100% unique and nothing is duplicated. Additionally, their wireless LED lighting, used in their modular cubes and towers, utilizes less power than standardized lighting.

The touch screen video mods are available for rental now and can be positioned and stacked in any display fashion. Depending on the scale of the event, the mods can each work as one video or screens can be combined and stacked to create a video wall.

In The Event is a full service event design company providing the ultimate in products and services to clients throughout the U.S. Their ability to transform your desires from concept to reality makes for an exciting and cohesive planning process.
