Warren Miller Entertainment - No Turning Back

This fall, Warren Miller releases its 65th ski film, No Turning Back. The newest installment pays homage to the 65 years of mountain culture and adventure filmmaking that has lead us to every end of the winter world—and this year is no different. From beneath the blankets of powder in Niseko, Japan to the top of Greece’s Mount Olympus, the French Alps, and the Mom & Pop hills of Montana, each location is sure to provide nothing but stoke. Watch Olympian Ted Ligety shred the World Cup in Colorado, Ingrid Backstrom and Jess McMillan push the boundaries of the Alaskan Chugach, and JT Holmes and Ulie Kestenholz take flight high above the Swiss Alps. Revel in the celebration for this year’s winter season and remember, this time there’s No Turning Back. Find shows, get tickets and more at www.warrenmiller.com.

Hotel Monaco Earns Place on List of the Best Hotels in Salt Lake City

Published: 02/04/2013

UtahBusiness.com -- Kimpton’s Hotel Monaco Salt Lake City was recently named one of the 2013 Best Hotels in Salt Lake City by U.S. News & World Report.

The 2013 Best Hotels are calculated based on the aggregate opinion of travel experts and guests expressed through awards, recommendations, and ratings.

"With our recent top-to-bottom renovation, I'm excited the Hotel Monaco Salt Lake City has earned this prestigious recognition," said general manager MaryLynn Beck. "We provide so many unique and fun amenities, like our 'Live Like a Local' offerings, our wellness program and our fun and frisky animal print robes. We are Salt Lake's ‘Guilty Pleasure,’ and we love sharing that with our guests."

To create this year's rankings, U.S. News factored in the prominence of industry awards a hotel receives along with its reputation among travel experts and guests. In total, 1,639 U.S. luxury hotels and 273 Caribbean hotels were analyzed for the 2013 rankings. Only a fraction of these scored high enough to be named Best Hotels by U.S. News.

"This is our third year ranking hotels, and the bar continues to climb for luxury properties," said Chad Smolinski, vice president of rankings and reviews at U.S. News & World Report. "Desirable amenities and hotel loyalty programs will no longer suffice. People are seeking hotels that go above and beyond to give their guests an unforgettable experience. Hotels that consistently meet the high expectations of experts and travelers are recognized in our rankings."

The U.S. News rankings of the 2013 Best Hotels can be found online, at http://travel.usnews.com/Hotels.
