 Poison Ivy Mysteries is a local Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre Experience. We perform intriguing musical murder mystery shows for the public which you can attend at one of our three unique venues. Oktoberfest

Snowbird's Oktoberfest began in 1973, when two men costumed in leather lederhosen, inspired by the towering mountains that reminded them of their homeland, came to Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort to play their accordions and sing in their native German tongue. Now – attracting over 60,000 visitors annually – Oktoberfest has grown to become one of the largest festivals in Utah. Oktoberfest includes Oktoberfest Halle featuring the tastes of Bavaria with entertainment from local and national German bands and yodelers.

Alaska Airlines Announces Twice-Daily Service Between Seattle and Salt Lake City

Alaska Airlines announced new twice-daily service between Seattle and Salt Lake City. Year-round flights to the "Crossroads of the West" are scheduled to begin April 4, 2013, and are available for purchase at www.alaskaair.com or by calling 1-800-ALASKAAIR.

“Salt Lake City represents the largest market out of Seattle that Alaska Airlines does not currently serve and has been a top request of our customers for more than a decade,” said Andrew Harrison, Alaska Airlines' vice president of planning and revenue management. “With two daily nonstop flights, our customers will enjoy seamless connections to many destinations through Salt Lake City on our partner Delta Air Lines.”

Like Alaska Airlines' hometown of Seattle, Salt Lake City and the surrounding region provides many popular outdoor recreational options, including Zion National Park, Alta Ski Area and Snowbird Ski Resort, to name a few.

“Alaska Airlines is a fantastic new air travel option for the residents of, and visitors to, Salt Lake City,” said Ralph Becker, Salt Lake City mayor. “As regional outdoor recreation gateways, Salt Lake City and Seattle have much in common and I look forward to utilizing this great new connection with the Pacific Northwest and points beyond.”

“We're delighted to welcome Alaska Airlines,” said Maureen Riley, executive director of the Salt Lake City Department of Airports. “This new service will provide an important link to worldwide access for passengers. They will be the eighth air carrier with scheduled service in Salt Lake City.”

Alaska Airlines' new flights will be operated with Boeing 737-800 aircraft, accommodating 16 passengers in first class and 141 in the main cabin.
