SAN CLEMENTE, CA (October 6, 2014) - The 15th Annual Powder Awards returns to Salt Lake City, Utah, to celebrate the best in ski cinematography, photography, and athletic achievement. Festivities commence on the evening of December 5, 2014, at The Depot in downtown Salt Lake City. Highlighting the best ski films and athletes of the year, the event also showcases readers' favorite skiers with the annual Powder Poll.

Voting for the Powder Poll is now live on and runs through November 24, 2014. During the first four weeks that voting is open, POWDER will do a weekly giveaway that includes GoPro cameras and two tickets to the 15th Annual Powder Awards.

One of the biggest nights in skiing, the Powder Awards attract a who's who of the industry, including professional skiers, ski legends, ski film production crews, industry brands, media, and celebrities.

Special thanks to our 2015 sponsors GoPro, Red Bull, Sierra Nevada Brewing, Ski City, and Bird Dog.

For 43 years, POWDER, The Skier's Magazine, has been produced by and for those who embrace skiing, and is developed through a collective love of two things: good skiing and quality storytelling. Since its inception in 1972, POWDER, also known as The Skier's Bible, has been based on authenticity, experience, and respect for its readers-the most passionate, dedicated, and loyal in the sport.
